Sam CassellSamuel James Cassell was born on November 18, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland. Sam Cassell was selected by the Houston Rockets in the first round (24th pick overall) of the 1993 NBA Draft. Sam Cassell bio states that he was traded by the Rockets with Robert Horry, Mark Bryant and Chucky Brown to the Phoenix Suns for Charles Barkley on (August 19, 1996). Sam Cassell was traded by the Suns with Michael Finley, A.C. Green and a 2nd round draft choice in 1997 or 1998 to the Dallas Mavericks for Jason Kidd, Tony Dumas and Loren Meyer on (December 26, 1996). Traded by the Mavericks with Chris Gatling, Jim Jackson, George McCloud and Eric Montross to the New Jersey Nets for Shawn Bradley, Ed O'Bannon, Robert Pack and Khalid Reeves on (February 17, 1997). Sam Cassell was traded by the Nets with Brian Evans, Chris Gatling, a 1999 first-round draft choice and a future first-round draft choice to the Milwaukee Bucks, in a three-way deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, for Stephon Marbury, Elliot Perry, Chris Carr and Bill Curley on (March 11, 1999). Sam Cassell bio said that he was then traded by the Bucks along with Ervin Johnson to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Joe Smith and Anthony Peeler on (June 27, 2003). Sam Cassell was Traded by Timberwolves with first-round draft choice to Los Angeles Clippers for Marko Jaric and Lionel Chalmers (August 12, 2005). Sam Cassell was resigned by LA Clippers as free agent (July 12, 2006).
