Sam Cassell likely out for 3-4 more games
Sam Cassell has already missed two games with a strained left calf muscle, and Los Angeles Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy fully expects him to sit out at least a few more games.
"I don't think Sam will be ready for another three or four games," Dunleavy said. "A pulled calf muscle typically is a 10-day to two-week injury. Every opportunity I have to not have him on the floor...I sit him down because [he's] 38. You just don't know. Something could happen." Sam Cassell is injury-prone, and even when he's playing, he is typically limited to around 25 minutes per game, so start him caution this year.
